A lovely little safe and comfy place to stop over for the night with my dog with everything we needed.

Beautiful little place. Had every thing we needed. Comfy bed and extremely well thought out set up. Very clean. Couldn’t fault it. Would definitely recommend. Bonus was that it was soo cool when we walked in, which was very welcome in this very hot weather. This was probably due to the thickness of the walls. Thank you so much for sharing this with us.

Just wanted to say thank you for letting us stay at your wonderful Dog House. It was so comfortable and we appreciated being able to have a place to relax ready for the next step of our journey. We loved the way you have restored the place and the features. The way you covered the electrical wires with metal hose was really effective! The bed was comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. You may well be seeing us again. Impressed with what you have done and wish you every success.

Property was compact but had everything that we needed. It was very nice having a supply of tea and coffee in the cupboard, along with dog beds and dog towel. Very happy stopover.

Our stay was truly magnificent; the cottage has been designed with incredible ingenuity meaning cleverness and original invention and a superb sense of aesthetics that left us thoroughly impressed. We were particularly enchanted to find a photographic album documenting the construction of the house, which highlighted its wonderful heritage as a family-run project and added a deeply personal touch to our visit. The experience was made even more sublime by the inclusion of a skylight directly above the bed, allowing for the breathtaking opportunity to gaze at the stars as we retired for the night.

For an overnight stay with our dog, we had everything we needed and most importantly, the bed was comfy for a good nights rest. Perfectly located for lots of great walks and an easy stroll into town to pick up food and coffees in the morning.

Lovely little dog friendly house, so nice to find somewhere that actively welcomes dogs! We only stayed one night but everything was comfortable, the bed and the sofa were lovely and comfy which is not always the case in an Airbnb. Everywhere was spotless and the house had everything we needed so thank you both for a perfect stay!

We had a lovely two night stay visiting friends in the Village. Great accommodation for us as a couple and our four dogs (two small and two large). Very dog friendly yet we would have equally enjoyed it without bringing the dogs.

A cosy home from home and ideal location to explore the area.

Perfect for a one night trip. Comfortable bed, and lounge area. Very dog friendly. Quick walk into the Village centre with lots of amenities.

The Dog a house was scrupulously clean, comfortable and inviting. Good directions and a very convenient parking space.

Perfect place for our 1 night away, visiting Cheddar Gorge and Longleat Safari park. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, with a short walk to the Co-op for food supplies. As well as the microwave, there is a single, plug-in induction ring with a couple of pans provided if you want to cook something. A fan was provided in the bedroom which was appreciated as we stayed during a heat wave.

Lovely two night stay at this very dog friendly accommodation. Fast EV charger to use on site was super handy!

Fantastic little place, very much dog friendly! Perfect stop-over for me and my dog for trips to Cornwall. Great communication. Absolutely silent and dark at night - best night’s sleep I’ve had in a long time! & EV charger worked well (note - extra £20 for this). Thanks Jen & Frankie, I’d love to stay again!

Fantastic little home in a lovely village. Jen has thought of everything: right down to a few treats for your pooch! Really could not be better.

I booked the cottage on behalf of my daughter. Communication with the hosts was speedy and friendly and my daughter said that the instructions given made it very easy to find and check in. The cottage was clean, warm and cosy and as seen on the photos. She enjoyed her short stay!
