Great location, Mere is really nice. Very clever use of space throughout, well equipped for the size. Everything very clean and comfortable. Terrace outside is added bonus. Good value. Helpful information in the messages and book inside.

It was a gorgeous and thoughtfully presented cottage perfect for traveling with my dogs. Very clean, beautifully decorated. I will definitely book again when I'm in the area.

I recently stayed at The Dog House in Mere for 8 nights while travelling on business and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The cottage was the perfect size for a solo traveller, comfortable, well-equipped, and most importantly, felt very safe and welcoming. Jen and Frankie were excellent hosts, providing great communication from the initial booking right through to my stay, and were always available if needed. Although I didn't bring my dog with me, it was clear that the cottage is extremely dog-friendly and well set up for guests travelling with pets. I would highly recommend The Dog House and would happily stay again in the future. 5⭐️ stay - highly recommended.

This is the perfect little place for a night away! Jennifer was so friendly and very responsive to messages, giving lots of information and recommendations. It's only a short walk to a shop and there's a park and playing field not much further than that! My son and I had a lovely stay, very clean and tidy and he was so pleased to see games to play with when we arrived. Such a picturesque place. Thank you so much. Only complaint we have is we didn't stay longer!

Even though we didn’t have our dog with us, we really enjoyed our stay here! The house was very clean, and smelled clean as well! A really charming house in a charming town, we recommend having dinner at the Walnut Tree Inn, which is at walking distance!

Cute, clean and practical with all your and your dog’s needs catered for! I don’t spend long in the flat as I was attending an event nearby, but this suited me really well and Jennifer was a friendly and responsive host online (self check in was easy.) I especially loved the black out blinds and extremely comfortable bed. Thank you!

We stayed for one night to break up our journey and immediately felt relaxed - the accommodation is perfect for dogs and ours made himself at home, enjoying the walk to the nearby field which was a bonus.
Everything we could want had been provided, and there was plenty of space for luggage, coats etc.
We had a really good night's sleep in a very comfortable bed and quiet location. It's a lovely place to stay.

Ideal 1 bedroom accommodation for my work trip. The property was super clean, with all the facilities needed for the stay. A very comfortable bed, ensured a good nights sleep. The wee patio outside was also nice to sit out in the sun after a long day at work. Highly recommend, and I would look at this property for my next work trip.

Really lovely little place, ideal for us and the dog. Everything we needed, clean, well thought out, modern. Lots of nice pubs and take aways. The mere circular was a perfect walk for when we first got there. Highly recommend, such a beautiful area!
